Yesterday evening we welcomed a fantastic turnout at the Spencer Hotel, Dublin, and online for Shaping the Future of Radiology: AI, Audit & Error Reduction.

A huge thank you to our amazing speakers, Professor Ronan Killeen, Dr Amrita Kumar, Professor Adrian Brady, Professor Gabrielle Colleran, and our wonderful Chair Dr Jonathan Richenberg, for sharing insights on AI, patient safety, and error reduction in radiology.

Highlights included AI improving referrals, governance for safe clinical AI, understanding errors, and AI’s potential in paediatric radiology while keeping humans at the heart of decision-making.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in person or virtually for an inspiring evening of talks, discussions, and networking. We look forward to hosting our next Thought Leadership series event in 2026! 💡

Medica Ireland was proud to return to Ronald McDonald House at CHI Crumlin to take part in the Cook for Families program. Our team prepared warm, home-style meals for parents staying close to their children during treatment, providing a small comfort during a challenging time.

After five years working as a hairdresser, Alannah decided it was time for a new challenge and has made the move into healthcare. She has joined Medica as a Radiology Assistant and is already enjoying the variety her role offers, combining both clinical support and radiology administration.
