Walkways Walkways operates through three individually tailored initiatives.

1. This provides you with the opportunity to experience part-time or full-time paid work.

Walkways is an innovative project focused on improving the employability of people with an intellectual disability providing person centred training, guidance & support. PEER - 'Providing Equal Employment Routes' is aimed at supporting young people in education to take their first steps into part-time paid employment.

2. REAL - 'Reaching Employment Ambitions in Life' is aimed at adults who wish to experience paid employment.

3. Social Enterprise/Firm - aims to establish enterprises that fulfil a social need within our communities, while creating employment opportunities. EMPLOYERS

The Walkways programmes, *PEER and *REAL, provide a range of supports to employers and prospective employees, through professional Job Coaching and Job Carving training. The range of supports includes:

* Individual Needs Assessment for employers & employees
* Vocational Profiling and Career Guidance
* Individual Employment Mapping
* Jobs Sourcing and Skills Matching
* On-the-Job Support and Coaching
* Training and Support in Job Carving for Employers
* Follow-up Support and Mentoring to both Employers & Employees
