Have you thought of a career in acupuncture?
Dr Vincent Carroll is pleased to announce that Lansdowne College will be starting its 23rd consecutive course on Friday the 24th September.
The course which is very practical leads to the awarding of a recognised diploma in acupuncture after 3 years of weekend based training.

The Lansdowne College of Acupuncture and Complementary Medicine is situated three minutes from the Lansdowne Road, D.A.R.T. Station in Ballsbridge. Hi all,I am very impressed by this video. The purpose of a mask is to contain your aerosol when you sneeze and thereby prevent it spreading to others by droplet spread. This breaks the chain of transmission. It is also of some value in preventing you acquiring Covid-19 by droplet infection. Masks work best if everybody wears one when out of doors as it effectively breaks the chain of transmission by limiting aerosol spread. A 1988 cluster of Legionaries disease in London which led to three fatalities was linked to aerosol transmission over several hundred yards from its source,a water tank on the roof of the BBC building. In certain conditions aerosol transmission of viruses can travel very long distances so beware!

Now that experts suggest that wearing a mask or face covering is helpful against the coronavirus, folks are scrambling to make their own rather than tap into the supply of surgical face masks neede…

Online entry for the ARC Run is now closed.
We will operate late entry tomorrow morning between 8.00am - 9.20am at the start line on Furze Road, off Chesterfield Avenue in the Phoenix Park. Late registration will cost €25. The warm up will commence at 9.30am for anyone who wishes to participate.
