This is an opportunity to hear from the National experts, regarding bone health and what exercises those with bone loss should not be doing by Mr Aidan Woods.

Professor Moira O'Brien, an Osteoporosis consultant, will be involved in the questions and answer session.

Thanks to Microsoft for hosting the Irish Osteoporosis Society on World Osteoporosis day 20th October 2025. We met with Microsoft to explore how AI can help us to do more with our current resources.

Today is World Osteoporosis day and our wish is that all of you who read this message will forward it on to family, friends and colleagues.

Everyone needs to check to see if they are at risk of bone loss, and this can be done by checking out the charity website www.irishosteoporosis.ie

Charity members can book a one to one 30 minute phone appointment with the National Osteoporosis experts, to discuss their bone health. A donation of €50 to the charity entitles a person to a charity membership for 12 months.

World Osteoporosis day is the 20th October and in an ideal world everyone would make their bone health a priority, as health bones are essential for people to sit up, walk and actually be able to participate in daily activities
