Lorna Lambert, Psychotherapist

Lorna Lambert, Psychotherapist Psychotherapist, helping people through challenging times to live a happier, more authentic life. Hello!

I'm Lorna and I am a fully qualified and accredited psychotherapist, passionate about providing effective mental health services in a variety of settings. I work from an integrative perspective, meaning I don't believe in a "one size fits all'' method. Instead, I use several different therapeutic modalities, including Humanistic, Gestalt, Psychosynthesis, Interpersonal, Art, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and CBT. This allows me to work collaboratively with clients, to identify strengths and preferences in order to find a therapeutic style that suits the them. As a member of the IACP, I endeavor to adhere to the ethical guidelines and continuously engage in supervision and CPD to develop and enhance my professional competency.

In the last 3 years I have had to make some big changes as a Mom to adjust to life, to make it calmer and to make it enjoyable. I am happy to say that I’m definitely getting there now. As my son grows and changes, so too will my husband and I, crossing more bridges when we get there. We will also be welcoming our new addition to the family but this time I feel a lot more prepared.

So as a Mom, coach and psychotherapist I help Mom’s achieve the best of both worlds: at home and at work, focusing on strategies to help them get the most of both of these important, challenging and rewarding roles.
