Marino Therapy Centre

Marino Therapy Centre 30 years teaching people to recover themselves from Eating Disorders / Eating Distress Education is core to our treatment.

Our practitioners are specialists in full recovery from Eating Distress, including body image issues, nutritional issues, body dysmorphia, depression and anxiety. Education is from the Latin word ‘educe’ which means ‘draw out, bring out’. We aim to draw the very best out of every person we work with. The work of our MTC team is based on teaching our clients to let go of self-destructive coping mechanisms and learn to experience a Life of Freedom. Our program, based in over 20 years of specialising in Eating Distress recovery, provides positive life-changes, cognitive and behavioural changes, emotional guidance and learning to let go of your negative, and pre-conditional thinking. When you attend Marino Therapy Centre, you become a student of Life.

Could today be the day for some baking
🐰 Easy Easter bunny biscuits?
Start by preheating your oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 4). In a bowl, cream together 100g of softened butter and 80g of sugar until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. Add one egg and mix until fully combined.

Gently fold in 150g of plain flour, 50g of ground almonds, half a teaspoon of ground ginger, and half a teaspoon of baking powder. Mix everything together until a soft dough forms.

Roll out the dough and cut it into bunny shapes using a cutter. Place the biscuits onto a lined baking tray and bake for around 15 minutes, or until they turn lightly golden.

Allow them to cool before serving. If you like, you can decorate them with icing, sprinkles, or a little grated dark chocolate for a simple and comforting Easter treat.
