I am originally from Sligo but have been based in Dublin for the past 7 years. I currently work full time in a sports clinic alongside IRFU schools physiotherapist David Lyons, which is based at St. This involves treatment and rehabilitation of rugby players based at St. Mary's College, with training and match cover of the first squad and U20s. This has extended to include St. Mary's College schools senior cup team. The patient population at this clinic also includes GAA players from the surrounding clubs : Ballyboden, St. I have also been involved in education sessions for these players in relation to managment of injuries, injury prevention, flexibility etc. I am currently in my fourth season with Kildare County GAA U21 squad. Due to this link I would also treat Kildare club GAA players eg Celbridge. I was the Leinster Womens Physiotherapist (2013-2016), this involves screening of the squad, cover of training/games during the Inter-provinical season. I left this position as I was included in the Connacht playing squad 2016. I work with Cricket Ireland Womens squad (2013-2016) and U 19 mens squad (2014-current) this included the ICC World Cup T20 Bangladesh 2014, U19 ICC World Cup, Bangladesh 2016 and the ICC World Cup T20 India 2016. I also act as match day physiotherapist for the inter-provincial senior men's and women's cricket squads. I work with Dublin club Ballyboden St. Enda's Senior Hurlers (2014-current), this includes screening, educational sessions and individual physiotherapy for players. I am completing an Msc. in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Jordanstown , University of Ulster (2014-2017). I believe in the continual professional development of my sports focused career, looking to advance my knowledge for the benefit and progression of players that I am working alongside.
