Art Teachers' Association of Ireland (ATAI)

Art Teachers' Association of Ireland (ATAI) The Professional and Official Voice of Art Teachers in Ireland It was set up in 1950 by Patrick Heney. It has evolved into several Regional structures.

The Association of Art Teachers is one of the longest established Subject associations in Ireland. It is run on a voluntary basis by and for qualified Art Teachers. All of the regional groups are affiliated to the National Organisation. The association provides collegiality, support and a forum for discussion and for the exchange of information. We help organise relevant in-service and CPD workshops for our members.
