On October 25th 1969, Tom Farmer opened his pharmacy at Powers supermarket on Dundrum's Main Street - the current location of TSB bank. Dundrum was then just a quiet village at the foot of the Dublin Mountains. In November 1971, the decision was made to move across the street to what was then the "new" shopping center. A lot has changed since the business began, but Tom's philosophy of providing a personal and professional service to all patients and customers, will always remain at the heart of what we do. Farmer's Pharmacies have developed on Tom's belief that operating a pharmacy is a noble profession, and we will always guarantee excellent standards by providing the best advice on medicines and the treatment of ailments. More recently, Farmers Pharmacy has expanded it's services to include another pharmacy in Beacon Court in the Sandyford Industrial Estate and a third at Ballyogan Shopping Centre.
