Our National Outpatient Programme is coming soon to Athlone and the surrounding areas, bringing structured, evidence-based addiction treatment closer to home for families across the North Midlands.

This 10-week programme is designed as a alternative to residential treatment, mirroring the same structured approach without the need to leave home. Family involvement is a key part of the process, because we know that recovery is stronger when the people who matter most are part of the journey.

If you’re supporting someone in a rural community who needs access to specialist addiction treatment, the National Outpatient Programme could be the right fit.

This programme treats all addictions.

The Rutland Centre's new medical detox unit provides a safe, medically supervised environment where individuals struggling with addiction can begin their healing journey with dignity and compassion.

Our unit specialises in alcohol and/or co***ne detoxification. Our experienced team offers 24/7 medical supervision, evidence-based detox protocols, and personalised care plans.

We understand the complexities of addiction, and we work closely with referring partners - GPs, counsellors, and healthcare organisations - to ensure coordinated transitions into residential treatment and long-term recovery support.
