Office of the Ombudsman Ireland We examine complaints from members of the public who believe they have been unfairly treated by certain public service providers.

We examine complaints about public services under the Disability Act. our services are independent, impartial and free. The Office of the Ombudsman, Ireland, examines complaints concerning the administrative actions of Government Departments, the Health Service Executive (including public hospitals), local authorities and An Post. The Ombudsman may also investigate complaints concerning compliance by public bodies and some other bodies with Part 3 of the Disability Act 2005. The Ombudsman is independent, impartial and provides a free service.
