Each client is treated differently so I can increase the client's state of relaxation in order for the healing and balance to take place. Having completed post grad training with the revolutionary Dr Richard Tan I now work extensively with clients with varying gynae and fertility issues for both male and females. I also deal with treating migraine, headaches, sinuses, hay fever, asthma, chest infections, shoulder, elbow, ankle, hamstring, achilles heel, wrist, back foot pain and all other sports related injuries. Acupuncture has also seen great results with issues in the body relating to stress such as digestive disorders, poor sleep patterns, irritability, mood fluctuations anxiety and depression.

Today is the Festival of Sheelagh Na Gig.

You heard of Big D**k Energy well this lady embodies Big V×gina energy. The images of Sheelagh can be traced back to pre medieval times. She was the lady of the Big V***a - where all life springs from. Her energy had lost its way for a long time but she has been restored with a renewed interest in both her imagery and energy. Connected to growth, birth fertility, life and new beginnings it would be a regular occurance for local farmers make an offering to her at lambing season as a thank you for a growing healthy herd.

In medieval times with its high infant mortality rates it is thought a big v***a would deliver a baby quickly with as little complications as possible. Ladies were encouraged to massage the v***a with butter to help the baby slip out. As we moved from paganism to Catholicism Sheelagh was hidden away as to not cause arousal to young people. Now as we become a more secular society she is finding her feet again and her image and energy is embraced and used as a symbol for empowered feminity and the energy associated with it.
So welcome to the modern world Sheelagh it's amazing that you continue to inspire so many of us over 1000 years later

Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhuit mo charas 🇮🇪

So the first bank holiday so far that it's not raining we decided to buy some plants and get cracking on the garden

Now we have a future plan for the garden but thats for the weeks when the actual sun comes and stays for a few weeks so the proper works can be done.

So in the meantime we decided to plant but with a special twist. There are 4 amazing people in my life that didnt get to see the house so we bought plants and named them after each one. The Sweet William for my dad Billy, the magnolia for my Aunty Peg, the Red Robin for my uncle Joe and the Hydrangea for my best friend Yasmins dad Pat.

We had great crack planting and deciding where to put each pot. It really is an amazing way to reconnect with those passed and bringing some peace. I was so emotional taking the photos and sending them to Yasmin and my cousin Aislinn.

I cant wait to see how my garden grows. Starting my planting on a new moon solar eclipse, an equinox, and the end of a mercury retrograde, I've great faith in their development.

Mothers Day is a celebration with so many dimensions

It's a day for celebrating our own mums and women in our families who are like mums to us.
It's a day for celebrating being a mum and telling each other how well we are navigating it even if it doesn't feel like that sometimes.
It's also a day that some women find it so difficult to navigate.
For so many women, being a mother is so far from their grasp.
So many others yearn for a 2nd child
So many are navigating a journey with no answers
So many are tentatively on their 2 week wait patiently hoping for that red line
So many have given up
There are so many waiting for that miracle

If you are not feeling it today, that's okay. There are no rights or wrongs on this journey. My wish is for everyone to navigate this day as safely and as authentically as possible. Go gently with yourself

Tomorrow is the new day to let the light through. Without light, we can't see our way out of the dark

Enjoy whatever you do today. 1 day does not define you as a person

Great news from the clinic this week

2 pregnancy announcements, 1 lady doing a mock cycle to prep her body, 2 egg collections to prepare for a frozen transfer and finallyyyyy Im off for 4 days.

The clinic will be closed until Wednesday 18th

Im going out for the day today for the rugby I will have my notifications switched off. I will answer all messages on Monday

Getting ready for what is going to be Rugbys Super Saturday. I cant wait

What a morning getting all of our ideas on paper. Myself and my lovely friend spent the morning over cappuccinos preparing for our Fertility Wellness Event Sunday March 29th and getting our plan in place. And as you all know, we love a plan here in the clinic.
This event is so special to us - we wanted the prep to start soon as. We brainstormed, wrote it all down, and have come up with what we believe will be an amazing afternoon of cacao, connection, sharing, and a sense of being minded.

This group is for like-minded women on a fertility journey. If you are struggling with conception, if you have had failed cycles, if you have had a miscarriage, if you are getting no answers, if you are feeling lost and lonely only on your journey.

This group will be over 4 hours, mediation, cacao, journaling, coaching, tapping, acupuncture, self womb massage, connection, card pulling, and a little goody bag after.

If you are worried about coming alone, bring a friend they will enjoy it as well.

We have already places booked and we have barely advertised so if you are interested drop either of us a DM and we will organise your spot

You rock my world. Its said the sum of any person is the people they surround themselves with, and Im so so lucky with my circle. Fierce, funny, unstoppable, loyal, and so amazing. Thank you .ie for trusting me to guide you into your wedding day.

I have been working with this gorgeous soul in the run up to her wedding next week. As you all know I love the spiritual and esotheric, and when the 2 of us meet, it's like a meeting of minds. Sarahs last treatment pre wedding was a womb massage with acupuncture and red light. This treatment is not only for gynae issues - its more preparation for a new way of life, for calming the nerves, for opening up our creativity portals, and for calling in the new.

This was one of the most emotional treatments I've ever done. For me, it's my most favourite treatment ever to give and receive, and today was so much more special.

What a journey we have been on

One of my OG fertility ladies thru Covid and now back with me for babba number 2.

This lady did everything asked of her and more, while juggling a toddler, a business, househunting as well. Today was a very proud moment for me. I love how lives of my patients weave in and out through the different times of our lives. Its a joy and an honour for me.

Heres to a very successful transfer to this gorgeous soul.

Welcome to Lotus Flower Acupuncture. My passion is helping people reach their optimum in health and well being through Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Nutrition and Mindfulness. I believe that the body, mind and soul are connected and that if one of these are out of sync then the body falls into a state of discontent. My passion is to help each and every client on their journey by treating each person differently but holistically. Together we will look at all aspect of their lives to help get them back into balance and back on track. To me its all about the journey and little of the destination.
