What a day to celebrate with the signature McDonalds Chips

There is absolutely no research or evidence to suggest that McDonalds holds the key to IVF success. Its simply another ritual from the woo woo things people do on the day of their transfer.

Does it have to be McDonalds? Absolutely not - I just remind my girls to have a treat. It's been such a long road to get to this point. It's like a milestone to this part of the journey

RIP Baxter Bobbins Fitzterry Parkes from the House of Ono first of his name.

I've always said about Baxter who rescued who. He came into our lives when I was really struggling with life. His sassy attitude, the cheek, the back chat, the defiance, the ruling the roost, literally brought me back to life. Now i have to say he was spoiled rotten, but do I regret any of it? Absolutely not. I'd do the whole 14 years again in a heartbeat.
I haven't cried like this in ages. I feel like I've lost a piece of my soul.
He was the best dog, my soul dog, my baby boy, my best friend. I know il see you again in the next life.

Fertility massage acupuncture and red light last treatment before ivf transfer

6 months in the making, 'Oh, just do IVF you will be grand.' How many times did this fabulous lady hear this. For every single thing she did right, there were delays, poor response to neds, then overstimulating, then cancelled transfers, poir lining, and then family stuff. It's been a battle to get here even by doing everything right. But thankfully, we are here.

And the very best of luck, heres hoping for the most rewarding and desired outcome

This young lady works shifts and every once in a while she needs a reset

I always say to my shift workers to survive to need appropriate nutrition and hydration, exercise that supprts instead of depleting the body, having a good work life balance, being able to say no and prioritising good sleep patterns

This lady does it all but still needs the reset every now and again. As we know with shift work it plays havoc with our circadium rhythm so her treatments are part of her body and souls recalibration

Turning a breech baby TCM style - 2 needles at the corner of each little toe some moxa sticks and some patience

This treatment is about 40 minutes - I usually stick some needles in for calm and relaxation as well. Its the most gentle treatment for a wee babba and their mommas compared to the manual turning. If mommas happy, baby is happy then im happy.

The big scan is early next week. Lets see if the magic has worked

This Irish Dancer returned to me last night for a major overhaul. Back pain, hamstring tightness and back of the knee pain.

I knew she needed the works, Cupping on the area surrounding the back of the knee with acupuncture and red light and cupping on her back. When she rose she looked taller and like her neck was visible again.

Love cases like these they show how quick 1 session can turn an injury back on course to heal appropriately

What a result for my long distance runner!

I always say if you are a runner get your tool box sorted. Now im not just talking aboyt your boxes of plasters snd gels im taking about acupuncture, massage, cupping, foam rolling etc that will help with recovery

This lovely lady has been with me since January, getting ready for IVF.

A long winding road we have been on. Never easy, failed cycles, poor lining, family stuff, worry, stress, and more stress. But finally, this week, we go for transfer. But what a rollercoaster we have been on.

Remember, just because you go to IVF, it's not the silver bullet treatment. So much can go wrong even when you are doing everything right. It's a game of time and patience. Once the size doesn't fit all. It's full of surprises, both good and not so good, but the reward is the best feeling in the world.

Either way we are just there fingers crossed its the result we are all praying for

My favourite photo of the week

Talk about celebrating the little wins. I tell all my clients there's no such thing as TMI. Im here for it all. This photo tells me my lady here has finally got her smiley face on her ovulation stick, so thanks be to god, our treatments are working.

Ahhhhh, all the little things and the little victories - so worth celebrating and so worth documenting.

Im off today - it's the beginning of my timetable change where I'll be taking more Saturdays off. So heres to an afternoon of celebrating Avas confirmation and a time to be with great family friends.
