Each client is treated differently so I can increase the client's state of relaxation in order for the healing and balance to take place. Having completed post grad training with the revolutionary Dr Richard Tan I now work extensively with clients with varying gynae and fertility issues for both male and females. I also deal with treating migraine, headaches, sinuses, hay fever, asthma, chest infections, shoulder, elbow, ankle, hamstring, achilles heel, wrist, back foot pain and all other sports related injuries. Acupuncture has also seen great results with issues in the body relating to stress such as digestive disorders, poor sleep patterns, irritability, mood fluctuations anxiety and depression.

Here we are at round 2 of this young ladies womb & fertility massage to coincide with her ovulation.

We always have great chats when she is here, I dont know how these ladies manage to be so positive even though they are in so much pain and discomfort.

Still no endo official diagnosis but showing so many symptoms. She loves these sessions, they help ease her pain and kerps her hopes high that some magic will happen while she is waiting on her proper diagnosis

This lady is roughly 3 weeks pregnant!

Can you see the image on the tongue?

This is one of the reasons I love Chinese Medicine. At different stages of the pregnancy different images appear on the tongue.

Sometimes my ladies tell me they are waiting for their bleed and once I look at their tongue I suggest that it may be test time.

So lets palpate our way for the next few weeks and observe the magic on this tongue

Can you guess what was the number 1 cause of the delay for conception for my clients this year?

Well.........

Yes, Endometriosis. I see so many women looking for answers, and as you all know, I won't rest in how many things my clients have to rule out before we get to an answer.

So many of my failed IVF cycles or poor responders to stims have been told. You have no signs, no symptoms, you dont need the referral for laperoscopy or MRI.

I have met some ladies who are on this road up to 5 years and no referral. Ive encouraged all those ladies to go get their labs and referrals done and every stage of Endometriosis found. Just think if this was ruled out in the beginnin, valuable time would not have been lost. This is not 1 or 2 women this os 100s of women and Im 1 clinic. Whats it like across the rest of the country?

Do not be afraid to advocate for yourself on this journey, your voice may shake or your stomach may flip but by god you will be happy you did. If you still told no you don't need, listen to your gut and if all else fails get a second opinion. There are so many out there to help with the referral

Okay, I know smugness does not become me, but by god, im so happy with the outcome of this meeting

Recommended a Restorative Reproductive Medical Doctor to this lady and her husband. Finally got her appointment - she made the same plan that I knew would improve the chances of conception in this couple. I always say to my people just having acupuncture or reflexology or womb massage isn't going to cut it if you have heen trying to conceive for a while or have bern told you have unexplained Infertility. In RRM, this unexplained infertility becomes unexplored infertility, and then the tests that wouldn't normally be suggested get planned, and fingers crossed some proper answers

I always say to my clients I may be a sole acupuncturist here but there are tonnes of people in my network that I wont hesitate to refer you onto if there are any red flags at our consultation or you are ready to go down an alternative route

What an amazing month November has been for me

Its been the busiest November Ive ever had
Ive been blessed with a huge number of return clients
Ive been blessed with a huge number of new clients
Ive seen my gorgeous new mommas birth beautiful babies
Ive had 3 new pregnancy announcements
Ive helped mommas to put their plans into action for baby # 2
Ive supported those who are struggling with unsuccessful transfers and cycles
Ive put a plan in place for next year so watch this space
Ive my CPD booked for next year
And I've just about survived the 6 planetary retrograde

I am so so grateful to each and every person who help make my dreams come true everyday I walk into the clinic

I get to do a job I love while fulfilling all my dreams.

Welcome to Lotus Flower Acupuncture. My passion is helping people reach their optimum in health and well being through Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Nutrition and Mindfulness. I believe that the body, mind and soul are connected and that if one of these are out of sync then the body falls into a state of discontent. My passion is to help each and every client on their journey by treating each person differently but holistically.
