Each client is treated differently so I can increase the client's state of relaxation in order for the healing and balance to take place. Having completed post grad training with the revolutionary Dr Richard Tan I now work extensively with clients with varying gynae and fertility issues for both male and females. I also deal with treating migraine, headaches, sinuses, hay fever, asthma, chest infections, shoulder, elbow, ankle, hamstring, achilles heel, wrist, back foot pain and all other sports related injuries. Acupuncture has also seen great results with issues in the body relating to stress such as digestive disorders, poor sleep patterns, irritability, mood fluctuations anxiety and depression.

When im not making babies im helping my patients get better

This lady came in with problems with her ear since she swam the week before. 4 needles around the ear, 3 in the hands and 2 in her feet with some red light and we have the start of a result. She is booked in again on Tuesday for round 2.

What a difference an hour makes. You can see the downward slope on the bottom of the bump.

This lovely lady has been with me for nearly 2 years. From preconception to the present day, it's been a journey of resilience, hope, and trust.

She is due on Monday but we have a provisional booking for Saturday just in case.

I love journeys like this. I get to walk each lady or sometimes palpate our way to this point. Every single persons journey is so different but so rewarding.

Lets see what the next few days bring.

I see so much pregnancy and infant loss in my clinic. I always say to my girls its so important to hold their love in your hearts. Their presence and energy will guide your next babies into this life. They will be your guardian angels

One of the things my early stage pregnancy ladies worry about are the symptoms

As I always say every body is different. Some ladies feel them almost immediately. Some feel absolutely nothing, Some feel symptoms that come and go. I always encourage my ladies who are super worried to have their bloods done every week to get their hormones monitored instead of waiting for 7 week scan. This will help ease the worries and you can see your pregnancy progressing along.

The number of times I hear this when chatting with my patients. Stories full of regret, remorse, or shame. Some living in despair just hope the next round will be the one.

Im a great believer in getting it all out. Rant, rage, swear in all the languages you know but don't stay there. If you dont feel comfortable talking with myself, I work with some amazing trauma informed psychotherapists who will provide the extra support you may need. And as you all know, I wouldn't recommend my people to anyone I wouldn't go to myself.

So remember, there is no right or wrong way to navigate your journey, only the way that's healthiest for you

Im a big believer of 'let's throw the kitchen sink at this'.

I will research my patients case to the hilt and then let the needles do the magic. The Red Light is amazing for

Supporting ovarian function
Improves blood flow
Improves Endometrial lining quality

As this lady is willing to go the distance, I add in red light for no extra chage. The research of this method of biohacking is in its infancy, but the results I've seen in my clinic have been incredibly positive

It's a bittersweet message from one of my amazing ladies who has been with me for so long. We have discussed the possibility of her having endometriosis for the last 18 months. Each time she spoke to one of her medical team, each one said no - you dont have any symptoms.

One of my bugbears at the moment is how women are dismissed or just told no. There is enough research and data out there that shows you can have absolutely no symptoms and have chronic endometriosis. Luckily, this lady found the courage to demand a referral, and here we are. It makes me wonder how many more women going through IVF are in the same boat.

Never ever be afraid to speak up and speak out. Remember, it's your body and your journey. Unfortunately, time is lost by not speaking out sooner. An earlier diagnosis is crucial on a fertility journey. Let's advocate more for an early laperoscopy to rule endometriosis out early before it spreads

2nd positive on 2 days

I love text messages like this. It makes me realise how lucky I am to do this work. It also keeps me in awe of how my patients go head long into each cycle. Some broken, some worried sick about finances, some on the cusp of giving up but always with resilience.

I do my best to offer the most up to date guidance and advice. I am not afraid to refer to other specialists. I will encourage you to have further tests. I will encourage my patients to get to know not just their cycles but their bodies. I will encourage you to add a more balanced diet rather than cut out foods completely. Im a great believer in moderation and most importantly I support you through every single step of this journey.

So im having a celebratory piece of chocolate to celebrate these great 2 wins.

This is a lovely message to start the week

I always say resilience is a word embodied in the women and men I work with on their fertility journey. Time after time, they receive set backs, protocols that dont work, u turns, and random changes to their plan, and still they show up with a smile and a can-do attitude.

This massage made me smile as we have been through the mill together. But by god, did we stay the course together. As I say to all my clients, I am all in. I'll be here for the tantrums, the questions, the worries, the talking you down off the ledge or, in this case, dragging you down. But always with love and always with my clients' best interest at heart.

So im off to clean the house while I soak in all the good vibes from this message today

First full week completed in 5 weeks and what a week its been and ive still 2 days left

Remember its not just acupuncture, its the homework you do inbetwern treatments, its the acunap, its allowing yourself the time to rest and maybe have a little snooze. Everything adds up to a successful outcome.

And the acupuncturist is amazing as well 🤣🤣🤣

Impromtu days off are made of this

So between problems with the car and some cancellations, I've the universe giving me an impromtu day off.

Usually, when days like this happen, I'll try to fill my day with outings or get busy. Today, im going to enjoy the day off. It's too hot to sit out so it watching Pose on Disney plus. Lunch over and now a brunch ice cream for afters

Welcome to Lotus Flower Acupuncture. My passion is helping people reach their optimum in health and well being through Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Nutrition and Mindfulness. I believe that the body, mind and soul are connected and that if one of these are out of sync then the body falls into a state of discontent. My passion is to help each and every client on their journey by treating each person differently but holistically. Together we will look at all aspect of their lives to help get them back into balance and back on track. To me its all about the journey and little of the destination.
