Dry needling is a technique based on western medicine and research that involve inserting acupunture needles (which are 8 times smaller then a vacination needle) into a myofascial trigger point, causing a release within the muscle and decreasing muscle pain.
Here at SBK physical therapy we use dry needling in order to treat a range of injuries and ailment's. In our experience it works particularly well giving immediate relief from neck pain, muscle spasms and migraines.
