Stand Up for Mental Health in Ireland

Stand Up for Mental Health in Ireland A page highlighting the issues of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention and Awareness Suicide challenges the very core of our being and belief structures.

Suicide is a major public health problem that is amongst the leading causes of death not just in Ireland but worldwide. Suicide and suicide attempts have a ripple effect that impacts on families, friends, colleagues, communities and societies. In addition to the number of people who are injured or die, suicide also affects the health of others and the community. When people die by suicide, their family and friends can experience shock, anger, guilt, and depression. Stand Up for Mental Health in Ireland is a page for mental health and suicide awareness. We also aim to campaign the Government for better Mental Health Services for every County in Ireland.
