I began attending yoga classes nearly 16 years ago.

I was looking for something that would help ease the back pain and stiffness I had being experiencing over the previous couple of years. I had tried all sorts of exercise classes and none of them worked but I experienced great relief from my very first yoga class and with consistent practice I managed to eliminate my back pain, improve my posture and my breathing
After about a year of attending re

gular classes I began to notice other effects too. I was generally in better health and I was finding it easier to relax and was dealing better emotionally with life's up and downs. I decided I wanted to learn more about the meditative aspects of yoga and the philosophy and anatomy behind the practice. I also wanted to develop my own practice at home and so in 2005 I embarked on a two year teacher training diploma with the YTTC (Yoga training and therapy centre). I graduated in 2007 and I am fully certified with Yoga Alliance. I spent a couple of years teaching at various centres around Dublin city before finally setting up as a full time yoga teacher. In 2013 I embarked on further training in perinatal yoga with The Elbowroom (while pregnant with my first child) and in 2014 I became a certified Infant Massage Instructor also. There are currently some limited drop in spaces available in Mum and Baby Yoga on Monday mornings in Sutton so now is your chance to avail of this offer.

If you are a Mum to a newborn from 6 weeks right up to active crawling, this offer is for you......

This class is a wonderful way to get some movement into your week, learn some relaxation techniques, bond with your baby and meet with other (tired) new mums in your area.

There is an on-site cafe where the mums stay back for a cuppa after class and plenty of free parking available.

Avoid disapointment.....book asap as places are limited....😎

If you have recently had a baby, you might know about Baby Massage but you might be wondering why your baby would need a massage.

Well for starters.....baby massage classes are about soooooo much more then just baby massage........

It’s a lovely way to connect, slow down and spend uninterrupted time with your baby in the middle of the busy newborn days.

Through simple strokes and loving touch, baby massage can help to:
• soothe wind & tummy discomfort
• encourage better sleep
• support relaxation
• ease tension in the body
• strengthen your bond with your baby

But one of the biggest benefits?
It can help you feel more calm and confident too.
Baby massage gives you a moment to pause, tune in and learn what your baby is communicating to you.

There’s no pressure for babies to “perform” in class.
Some babies sleep.
Some feed.
Some cry.
Some happily enjoy every stroke.
Everything is welcome.

My classes are relaxed and baby-led.
You’ll learn a full body massage routine week by week in a warm and supportive space with other local mums.

And honestly… sometimes the best part is simply getting out of the house, having a cup of tea and chatting with other parents who are in the same season of life as you 🤍

My next Baby Massage Course begins on 17th June and its going to be the only one the summer so if you are interested book asap to avoid disapointment.

Deep Rest: A Restorative Yoga Mini Retreat

This is a slow, gentle practice where every pose is fully supported with props, allowing your body to completely switch off, release tension, and reset your nervous system.
