I choose to be happy
Berkeley University reports six health benefits of being happy:
1️⃣ Increased heart health
2️⃣ Stronger immune system
3️⃣ Lower stress levels
4️⃣ Fewer aches and pains
5️⃣ Decreased risk of chronic disease
6️⃣ Greater longevity
For these reasons and many more, we can choose to be happy. Regardless of your circumstances or what is happening around you, you have the ability to choose a smile, laugh, uplifting word, or bright outlook.
What fuels happiness? Gratitude, positive affirmations, refraining from complaints, learning something new, eating healthy foods, exercising, meditating, being kind to others, service, and looking on the bright side.
What makes you happy? Add more of it to your life. Your conscious choice to be happy will attract more goodness into your life.
