Fortnightly mindfulness and social-engagement practice group - starting on Monday, January 27 2020 at Common Ground, Bray.

We're coming into 2020 with a new socially-engaged mindfulness sitting group, which happens alongside and in addition to our bearing witness retreat-sessions, which will continue in 2020 with 2019's theme of 'housing and home' and other issues too. More to come soon on the Spring 2020 showing up retreat schedule.

The intention for this fortnightly practice group is to offer a regular opportunity for practice and sharing. If you have a mindfulness or other meditation practice, join us to explore how we can stay mindfully engaged with our own lives, and with the social issues that urgently need our wise attention.

Please see details of venue, times etc at https://www.showingup.ie/fortnightly-socially-engaged-mindfulness-group

Who We Are

The Irish Sangha Trust (IST) was established in 2011 to support and foster teaching and meditation practice in the Theravada Buddhist tradition in Ireland. The Irish Sangha Trust is a non-profit Buddhist organization, entirely dependent on the generosity of the public for voluntary donations.

Our annual schedule includes regular workshops, retreats and meditation sittings. Events are open to everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners. We welcome you to join our spiritual friends network and experience the profound benefits of meditation practice.
