“The Art of Surrender: A Samhain Yin Journey”
Sunday 26th October
1600-1730pm
Fee €30.00

As the seasons turn and the days grow shorter, we are invited to pause and embrace stillness. Samhain marks the threshold between light and dark, activity and rest. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this time of year connects with the metal element, supporting the Lungs (breath, spirit, inspiration) and the Large Intestine (release, spaciousness, discernment).
This workshop will invite you to explore the art of surrender through yin yoga: softening into shapes, yielding to stillness, and allowing your body and breath to guide you inward.
⸻
🪷 What to Expect
• Seasonal reflection + breath awareness to ground into autumn’s energy.
• Yin postures for the upper body, chest, arms, and hips, supporting the lung + large intestine meridians.
• Rebounds and stillness after each posture — the true heart of yin practice.
• Comfort + support from the studio’s props, making this accessible for all.
• A closing guided relaxation to settle into presence and ease.
⸻
✨ How You’ll Feel
• Spacious in breath and body.
• Grounded and calm, with a renewed sense of clarity.
• More connected to the natural rhythm of the season — where stillness becomes a teacher.

Join Michelle for a special seasonal Yin Yoga workshop at The Yoga Lounge, Raheny, on Sunday, October 26th (Bank Holiday weekend).
Samhain marks the turning of the seasons — the harvest is complete, and nature begins its descent into stillness. In yin yoga, this is the perfect time to practice the art of surrender: to soften, to yield, and to rest in what is.
Together, we’ll explore yin postures that support the lungs and large intestine meridians — cultivating spaciousness in breath and body. With the help of props, mindful rebounds, and guided relaxation, this workshop will invite you to experience yin as a practice of deep surrender.
This 90-minute workshop will leave you feeling grounded, spacious, and restored as we step into the darker half of the year.
All are welcome — no prior yin experience needed.
