Contemplating psychotherapy can be daunting, especially as there is so much information out there nowadays, not to mention all the different types of therapy to choose from. Finding someone you feel at ease with and who you feel is competent for your needs is important. Psychotherapy is not a sign of weakness or inadequacy; it’s embraced by all works of life for all sorts of reasons. Life events and experiences mean that we can fall on challenging times, sometimes we need a third party to help navigate the way.
