This allows you to book appointments to see Dr. Laura or Dr. Niall through a secure app that is linked in with our patient software system.

This is available for both private & GMS patients.

For now only 'regular' appointments can be made though we will add extra functionality over time once the system beds in successfully.

We are well into our flu & Covid-19 vaccination season so it is a good time to give you an update!

If you are in an β€˜at-risk’ group for flu then you can book in for a free flu vaccine. Just call us. The details for who is eligible are here: https://www2.hse.ie/conditions/flu/getting-the-vaccine/

All children πŸ‘ΆπŸ‘§πŸ§’πŸ‘¦ aged 2-17 inclusive are eligible for a free flu vaccine also. This is not an injection but a nasally inhaled vaccine. It is safe, painless and very quick to administer. There is more info on that here: https://www2.hse.ie/conditions/flu/childrens-flu-vaccine/

Are you waiting on a Covid19 booster vaccine?
You must be no less than 4 months after a Covid19 infection or booster.

So for example, if you were diagnosed with Covid19 on September 2nd, you will be eligible for a booster from January 2nd.
We will be running clinics for eligible patients until the end of December.

Again, please call us to book yours.

Thank you everyone πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ’‰πŸ’‰

Children and young people aged between 2 and 17 years can get the nasal flu vaccine for free. Read about the immunity, safety and side effects of the nasal flu vaccine.

It is flu vaccine season again! πŸ€§πŸ˜·πŸ€’πŸ€•

We have a useful update here on our website about our 2022-2023 influenza vaccine campaign as well as news on the new Covid booster that will provide protection against the original & Omicron variants of Covid-19.

Please take the time to read the information that is on our website, linked below.

Sincere thanks to all of those who attended for their Covid-19 booster yesterday. We are going to continue with this program for the time being as best we can.

We will be contacting patients as they become eligible.

Naturally, as we approach the Winter period, like many enterprises, things can get a lot busier so we will continue to assess things in relation to our capacity to provide the Covid 19 vaccine in our surgery.

Please don't call the practice with queries on your eligibility. The HSE website has excellent info on all of this so it is best to check their website on it.

Have a look on your government issued vaccination cert as this will tell you when you had your last dose & you will be able to figure things out from there.

You are also free to book a vaccine through the HSE website if you would prefer to do so.

As of yet, we have no definite information on when the 2022-2023 flu vaccine will become available.

Thanks everyone πŸ˜€πŸ‘

Healthcare workers and people aged between 12-49 with long-term health conditions are being invited to make an appointment for their second Covid-19 booster dose from today.

It is a while since we updated on our Covid 19 response here so if you have a few moments please read on! πŸ˜ƒ

1) We currently do not have Covid vaccines in stock. They are given to us in batches of 200 and have a short shelf life and the risk of excess vaccines expiring is too great.πŸ’‰πŸ’‰πŸ’‰

It is likely that we will be vaccinating again at a later stage. For the moment please contact the HSE here: https://www2.hse.ie/screening-and-vaccinations/covid-19-vaccine/get-the-vaccine/booking/ to book yours.

2) If you have not had your booster or indeed any vaccine for Covid and are eligible, please consider availing of it now. We have the time to mitigate against a severe wave this Winter β˜ƒοΈβ„οΈ

3) Masks are compulsory in our clinic at all times, this is to protect our staff & our more vulnerable patients. Sometimes a person's vulnerability will not be obvious to you.

At one stage earlier in the year we had 80% of our team out with Covid at the one time and this severely curtailed our services to the community. Please remember to bring your mask to your appointment.

Thanks everyone for your co-operation πŸ˜€πŸ‘

Choose a time and date that suits you. You can book an appointment up to 5 days in advance.

It is Men’s Health week this week in Ireland.

This week is designed to raise awareness of Men’s Health issues.

For many reasons, men are much slower to attend their GP with health concerns than their female counterparts.

GPs are well placed to care for all the family, including men, so if you or a loved one are worried about something don’t put it off!

Most of the time we can offer reassurance or arrange the necessary expert opinion or investigations to get you looked after πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘Œ
