Haven Pharmacy Mclaughlins

A little bit about McLaughlin's Pharmacy! Denis and his wife Catherine opened up McLaughlin's Pharmacy in 1973 on a Wednesday. In those days retailers closed for a half day on Wednesdays.. We took in 15punts that half day! Denis gave it to Catherine for luck Paula their daughter started working weekends and during the summer holidays and found she enjoyed it, and loved the customers of Walkinstown and Drimnagh and the very genuine and caring nature. Don their son qualified as a pharmacist and joined the team. The customers fell for his charm immediately (chip off the old block haha ). Now 40 years on in 2013 we see children from back in the 1980s coming in with their children. The cycle of life!! Mr and Mrs Mc built up a caring business and nothing was too much for their customers. As Denis used to say " they're my extended family". The loyalty and thanks we get back to this day from our customers is amazing! And that speaks volumes. We have a great team on board ready and willing to serve Dublin12, our second pharmacist Anthony, pharmacy assistant Rachel and counter assistants Lindzi and Eimear are the new back bone of McLaughlins Pharmacy. Please call in and see us. Denis McLaughlin passed away this year in February leaving a huge legacy behind him. We all hope we continue to succeed in filling his huge shoes. May he rest in peace.
