Training

The components of wellbeing and happiness - positivity, engagement, resilience, emotional intelligence, self-acceptance, compassion for others, and autonomy - are all amenable to training. Flourish Ireland training workshops are a mix of lecture, group discussion, homework, and practicing some positive psychology interventions. Coaching

Flourish Ireland provides a business & executive, and individual life, coaching service helping clients to flourish in terms of their psychological wellbeing. In turn, this helps clients:
•To be more engaged in work, relationships, play and life.
•To enhance their performance and productivity.
•To find purpose in work and life.
•To develop greater positivity in all their relationships, at work, and in life generally. Coaching is a collaborative endeavour facilitating the development of the client’s psychological wellbeing, enhanced performance, learning, and positive behavioural change. In addition to building on the positive coaching can work on reducing barriers to development, such as fear and self-doubt. All are related to applying the science of Positive Psychology in difference settings, such as in education, in business and executive coaching, in the workplace generally, in mental health services. All can be varied in terms of fitting the needs of particular audiences, and in duration. Positive Psychology and What It Can Do For You
Covers what Positive Psychology is and is not. Explores what ‘Happiness and Wellbeing’ is. Considers why some people are happier than others. Looks at Flourishing – optimal human functioning, and how we can change or levels of happiness. Introduces some practical approaches to making yourself happier, such as learning to notice the positive things already in your life, and how to be more mindful. A Positive Psychology Approach to Building Resilience for Difficult Times. This talk covers how, by working on enhancing our happiness and wellbeing, we can build our reliance to get through difficult times. Explores beliefs and attitudes that undermine resilience, and looks at how focusing on strengths can help build resilience. Considers how enhancing positivity, find meaning in life and work, learning to be more optimistic, and living in the present moment can turn adversity to advantage
