📣 Information Meeting Tonight Re Upcoming NCAM Works – 29th January 2026 📣

Uisce Eireann are installing a new water main, North City Arterial Main (NCAM) to deliver crucial water supply to Dublin. Some sections of the NCAM project have already been completed as part of other projects – including the recent Clontarf to City Centre Cycle track works and the earlier Causeway Road to Wooden Bridge Cycle track works.

There are two missing sections left to be completed. The first is from Causeway Road to Bayside Boulevard and the second is from Hollybrook Road to the Wooden Bridge. Work on the first section is due to get underway shortly. It will be broken into 2 phases – 2.5km of watermain along James Larkin Road/Dublin Road and 1.1km of watermain along Greendale Road and Thornville Road to Kilbarrack Parade. We will post further updates in relation to the Traffic Management plan for these works in due course.

There is a Community Information Meeting in Scoil Eoin, Thornville Road, Kilbarrack, tonight – 29th January 2026 – from 5pm to 8pm to answer questions about this first section.

The works for the second section will take place on the promenade and are not scheduled to be undertaken until 2027. Further public consultation will take place at a later date in relation to this section.

Reminder that the free Dublin City Council - Clontarf Christmas Tree 🎄 collection service is again available this year. Trees are being collected at the Clontarf Rd carpark opposite St. Anthony's Church. Note, not the carpark at Alfie Byrne Astro pitches!

This is a great way to ensure your tree is taken care of correctly and mulched.

Unfortunately every year we tend to find one or two Christmas Trees dumped in the area later in the year that people seem to think the Easter Bunny will look after so drop off your tree and help
