We were honoured to recently take part in the GAA Youth Forum, where young people came together at Croke Park for workshops on decision-making, resilience, empathy and youth leadership.

At the forum, Ombudsman for Children Dr Niall Muldoon joined the conversation to recognise the vital role of youth voice and the GAA’s commitment to putting children at the heart of sport and community.

The OCO welcomes the GAA’s dedication to youth participation and is proud to support efforts that ensure every young person’s voice is heard, respected and valued.

📚✨ The Keeper of Rights – Book Launch in Sligo!

This week we celebrated something truly special, the launch of The Keeper of Rights, a book for children, made by children.

Dr. Niall Muldoon joined students from St. Edward’s National School, Sligo, who helped create this unique project, exploring what children’s rights mean in their own words, ideas and voices.

Through stories, questions, drawings and imagination, these young creators have brought children’s rights to life in a way only children can.

A huge thank you to the students, teachers and Kids' Own Publishing who made this inspiring book possible 💛
