North Dublin Homeopathy
Homeopathy is a gentle yet highly effective system of medicine that uses naturally occurring substances in the form of remedies to stimulate the body’s own healing power. It is suitable for everyone, even sensitive patients, from pregnancy and birth through childhood and older age. Homeopathy works by stimulating the body’s own natural ability to heal itself. Although gentle, the results can be powerful and long lasting. When a remedy is given by a homeopath, it is an individualised prescription based on the totality of your symptoms, taking into account your physical, mental and emotional state. The symptoms of many conditions can be alleviated effectively with Homeopathy, whether they are consequences of trauma, short term illnesses or chronic conditions. It is not possible to list all the conditions that can be relieved with homeopathy, some of the more common ailments encountered and symptoms successfully alleviated with homeopathy are:

💙 September is PCOS Awareness Month - a time to shine a light on a condition that affects millions of women and to explore ways to support their health and healing.

Living with PCOS isn’t just about irregular cycles or cysts, it’s about how it touches every part of your life. Stress, anxiety, low self-esteem and wondering if you’ll ever get relief, often comes alongside physical symptoms like:

▪ Irregular or absent periods

▪ Excess hair growth, acne, oily skin

▪ Difficulty conceiving

▪ Weight challenges, insulin resistance, hormonal imbalance
Some women don’t even have cysts, yet hormonal imbalances or lack of ovulation can still point to PCOS. Every woman’s experience is different.

Many women turn to conventional treatments for help. Birth control, hormone therapy, fertility medications, surgery - they can offer relief, but side effects are often harsh and can feel like trading one struggle for another.

That’s where homeopathy offers a different path - gentler, less invasive and focused on your whole well-being. It doesn’t just treat symptoms; it treats you as a person. Every plan is unique, tailored to your physical and emotional needs.

It’s gentle, safe, non-addictive, and can work alongside other treatments.

Lifestyle matters too - balanced nutrition, regular exercise, and stress management make a huge difference. Combining these with a homeopathic approach can help restore balance, support your health, and improve your quality of life.

If you’d like to see if homeopathy could help you, whether it’s regulating cycles, supporting fertility, or simply feeling more at ease in your body, DM me PCOS to set up a complimentary call. I’m happy to help.

Stina Eriksson, thank your for sharing these beautiful words with our community:
'There is a certain kind of magic in meeting people who share a vision. Last Sunday was the last day of the ECCH AGM. It has truly been a wonderful and invigorating meeting!

The poet Ocean Voung writes about three kinds of families. The one we are born in, the one we choose and the family of our coworkers. For any family to be a creative space, we need to feel seen, to be able to be ourselves and be allowed to express our views. Within the ECCH family, we operate under different national laws, and homoeopathy is practised under varying circumstances. In some countries, homeopathy is well-known, while in others it is not.
We come together in these meetings and get to know the world beyond our own country. We share our joys and challenges, and just as we are individuals, we are also united. We come together to create a shared vision — for ourselves as homeopaths, for the future of homeopathy, for the importance of having a choice of healthcare and for the safety of our patients.

There is ongoing work in the ECCH for setting standards both for homeopathic education and for good practice, as well as clear
information about the bounds of competence. This is very important work, and the ECCH is working closely within the greater family of TCIH.
The ECCH executives and our policy officer work extensively with other organisations and attend meetings, and it is both important and inspiring to hear about what goes on.
And that, just like in Indra's net, we are connected to so many other organisations supporting our cause and we work together for people's access to homeopathy.

What warms my heart the most is how we all come alive during these meetings. How our energy and inner wisdom surface naturally — because the vision we share is carried by something greater than the contextually based reality, beyond what the mind alone can imagine.
A space where wisdom flows through us, and the air is clear and open so that we, together can continue our work. Some of us have worked for decades as homeopaths, and some of us are new in the profession - but we all have our place in the ECCH family, and I am so lucky to have been a part of this for five years now. It is both an honour and a great joy, and I look forward to our future endeavours for the benefit of homeopathy and for our patients, and I already look forward to the next meeting.'

Homeopathic medicinal products (HMPs) are distinct due to their preparation Unlike conventional medicine, homeopathy is based on principles established by Samuel Hahnemann, particularly the concept of "like cures like" and the importance of individualised treatment.

The effectiveness of an HMP depends on matching the patient’s specific symptom expression and personal sensitivities with a similarly tested HMP, marking a departure from the standardised approach of modern medicine. This individualised technique underpins homeopathy’s holistic model of care and is now echoed in emerging fields like personalised and integrative medicine.
