My name is Yvonne Tierney and I am a qualified RNMH Nurse having trained and worked in Stewarts Hospital for many years where I developed a passion for caring for children with Autism. I opened my first Crèche in 1985 and since then have been involved in childcare for 25 years. I own and operate with my partners mainstream Crèches in Blackrock, Stillorgan, Woodbine and Greystones. I have always had a passion and been particularly interested in children with Autism and special needs, therefore it is a very exciting time for me and my staff to have this opportunity to offer this Crèche to children and Parents. We have created in Willow House a happy, calm environment where children can be cared for and educated through individual programmes developed by both teacher and Parents working together. We have brought together a team of professional staff who will support the children in reaching their unique and individual potential. All staff members are fully qualified in ABA, primary school teaching and the Montessori method of education. We do our utmost to accommodate parental wishes and encourage all parents and siblings to get involved in the activities of the Crèche. Willow House has a garden and a tennis court to play in, which plays a big part in the development and happiness of children. It is vital that fresh air and Gross Physical play is a part of our daily life. We believe Willow House is a very special place.
