We are delighted to be able to offer interactive antenatal workshops in the Swords area.
The 1 day workshops are on Saturdays from 10am to 5 30pm.
This workshop will help you to prepare for birth and early parenting. To optimise your learning, we keep our groups small (maximum 8 couples) and use adult learning techniques. We also tailor our classes to your needs, so all questions are welcome.
Topics / Areas covered:
Preparing your body for labour and birth.
The signs of labour and how labour 'works'.
When to go into hospital.
Role of the partner.
Managing your contractions - the medication, breathing, relaxation etc.
Interventions which may take place (including caesarean section).
Care of you and your baby after birth (including breastfeeding).
The price is 220 per couple.
All attendees will receive an annual membership to Cuidiú.
The next upcoming dates are January 24th and March 7th.
