LEVEL 5 Lockdown

Physiotherapy is in Human Health and is an essential service. We will remain open unless we start getting too few people in to justify remaining open.

Unlike March and April, we have procedures and PPE so we can continue to see people. If you wish a tele-consult rather than face to face, we can accommodate that.

Access to the waiting room will be very restricted, so arrive no earlier than 5 mins before your appointment. We have clean down times that we need, so if you're more than 10 mins late we won't have enough time in the slot to see you effectively.

If you have to travel, have your appointment notification handy. In March/April Guardi were accepting physio appointments as a valid reason to travel.

With the decreasing lockdown we are opening some of the days to people coming into the clinic.

Available slots can be seen in the online diary. Because public transport is not yet up to full, we can't offer the earliest or latest slots that were previously available.

See the link below for current precautions. A mask is required (we're in a space for more than 15min) and we would prefer that you bring your own.

MAY 11 Status update.

Due to the difficulty of public transport and the fact that most of the people we see aren't coming into the city centre, we're still mostly closed.

However, we have added a small number of slots to the diary on one day for emergency cases. If you click the on-line diary you will still have only the option to le-health appointment. Make an appointment. If you are a familiar client, we may just call and offer a in clinic appointment. Otherwise we will use the tele-health time to assess your situation.

This also means that we will reduce the time you need to be face to face with us in the clinic because we’ve asked all the relevant assessment questions, and it is actually better to be able to do that remotely if possible, so please don’t regard a tele-health appointment as a fob-off. It’s a useful and important first step in our assessment of how to proceed with your case.

If you are coming in please be aware of the precautions we have in place
