Oneness by Thich Nhat Hanh

The moment I die,
I will try to come back to you
as quickly as possible.
I promise it will not take long.
Isn’t it true
I am already with you,
as I die each moment?
I come back to you
in every moment.
Just look,
feel my presence.
If you want to cry,
please cry.
And know
that I will cry with you.
The tears you shed
will heal us both.
Your tears are mine.
The earth I tread this morning
transcends history.
Spring and Winter are both present in the moment.
The young leaf and the dead leaf are really one.
My feet touch deathlessness,
and my feet are yours.
Walk with me now.
Let us enter the dimension of oneness
and see the cherry tree blossom in Winter.
Why should we talk about death?
I don’t need to die
to be back with you.

Therapy afford us a chance to not only discover awareness regarding limiting beliefs and how we act during times of distress. It also arms us with tools to change how we react, how we manage ourselves, which can reward us with different outcomes.

Trust yourself. Trust your gut. Do what’s best for you.

December 1st is World AIDS Day, and in our home and professionally it’s always hugely important we show our support to those currently living with HIV, and those like my Brother Richard who had sadly left us. ❤️

My fabulous models George and Jinkx are proudly sporting their National AIDS Trust Paws-ative bandanas, (hard the see the text with George’s huge fluffy chest 🤣). We support HIV Ireland too❤️

It's Stand Up Awareness Week 2024!

This is Ireland's largest anti-LGBTQ+ bullying campaign taking place in schools, Youthreach centres and youth services across the country. Now in it's 15th year, the campaign works to make all young people feel safe and welcome in education and youth spaces and say no to LGBTQ+ bullying.

49% of LGBTQ+ post-primary school students in Ireland experience homophobic, biphobic or transphobic bullying. This week, hundreds of thousands of students are saying no to this and making LGBTQ+ inclusion a priority in their spaces in partnership with dedicated teachers, principals and youth workers.

For more information on the week and the types of activities that being hosted visit www.belongto.org/standup/

Do you judge yourself and your progress harshly?.

It's always a useful tool to look back and see how far you've come. Accept where you're at, and allow more change to take place.

Having a safe, confidential space to explore your feelings feeling supported can bring about positive change.

Seeking validation from others can often times mean we are saying Yes to others and No to ourselves.

Exploring in therapy why you put others needs first, what would it be like to put yourself first, noticing the pattern and choosing change, can often be life changing.
