Tomorrow will be payday for a lot of people. Our bank accounts will be full again and we might want to treat ourselves?

Then, not by coincidence, a lot of the shops will be having sales, discounts, special offers, last time to buy deals, dont miss out deals etc.

Before you start hitting the shops or adding to cart, it is time for a quick audit of what you already own so as not to bring clutter into your home!

Can you squeeze the last bits out of your favourite lotions and potions?

Do you already have unused backup products you bought on your last payday?

Did you get gifts of "fancy" products at Christmas you still haven't opened?

Do you already have enough jewellery?

Remember, next payday at the end of March, there will be more sales and special offers ๐Ÿ˜€ You will not be missing out!

Tackling a few decluttering and organising simple tasks on a Sunday can help settle a racing mind, lower stress and anxiety and reduce decision fatigue during the week!

They dont have to be huge jobs.

Maybe a few bits that maybe have been on your To Do List for a while! Or actions now that will make you feel more together.

Here are a few suggestions

๐Ÿฅฃ Meal plan for the week and batch cook one dinner today.

๐Ÿงฝ Clean that one space that has been on your To Do List for way too long.

๐Ÿ—’ Tackle a few bits of Life Admin that have been living in your head.

๐Ÿ‘— Sort through your wardrobe and organise some outfits for the week ahead. This will encourage you to examine what you never wear to see if you can make them work or is it time to donate those items to charity.

๐Ÿ’„Wash out those make up brushes and lay them out flat on a towel to air dry.

โฃ๏ธMost importantly, take 30 minutes out of your day today to pamper yourself, do your nails, put on a layer of tan or whatever lifts your spirits ๐Ÿ˜‰

What steps do you take on a Sunday to invest in a better week ahead?

Hope you all have a beautiful Sunday ๐Ÿ˜

A simple Saturday Shelfie Reshuffle can really lift the mood!

As a Decluttering and Organising specialist, sometimes people think I live in a stripped back, bare minimum life!

I do in a way in terms of I choose not to buy stuff for the sake of buying. However, I am also a very sentimental person.

I just choose to keep a few key pieces that mean the world to me instead of buying or keeping stuff just for the sake of it. That way, what truely matters to me, stays important.

Have you ever struggled with dealing with possessions from a loved one who has passed? It is so very hard๐Ÿ’”

The simple things we do whilst slowly moving can prepare us for a better week ahead. Here are some simple suggestions of things we can declutter and organise today, whilst pottering about!

๐Ÿ—“ Do you have piles of paperwork scattered throughout your home? Gather them all up into one storage box or carrier bag. This reduces visible clutter. Then decide to tackle them today or schedule a time in your week to tackle them!

๐Ÿ” Clear of the clutter that has gathered on your kitchen table and rehome them.

๐Ÿ’ป Clear out 30 emails from your inbox.

๐Ÿ‘š Iron those items you want to wear in the next few days to save time this week.

๐Ÿฅ˜ Meal prep one or two meals to reduce decision fatigue during the week.

๐Ÿ’• Take time to pamper yourself today to show appreciation to yourself.

Let me know which will you try today?

Looking forward to presenting my Habit Stacking for Wellness workshop this Wednesday in Rathmines Library.

I don't do New Year's Resolutions because they rarely work! Only about 8% of us will see them through! Then we can feel despondent and overwhelmed.

Habit Stacking is so much easier to implement and can bring around lasting change!

This event is suitable for everyone including secondary school students preparing for exams!

Looking forward to meeting you all at the event ๐Ÿ˜€

Our Story

My name is Fiona Hall MIACP, owner and founder of Consciously Clearing decluttering service based in Dublin but working with clients throughout Ireland. I am a qualified and accredited Psychotherapist & Counsellor, Public Speaker, Mum to twins and I am passionate about decluttering, living with less and feeling more organised. My vision is to help clients declutter their homes and businesses, let go of the past and live happier lives!

I have written about all things decluttering for VIP, Sunday World Magazine, Maternity and Infant, Stellar, Easy Parenting and Rollercoaster.ie as well as speaking on Sunshine FM about the value of decluttering in adding to our everyday happiness. I also deliver talks on โ€œDecluttering and the Impact on our Mental Healthโ€ for Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council, South Dublin County Council and Meath County Council. Additionally, I deliver workshops to corporate clients and private groups on the positive impacts of decluttering and how letting go can help us move forward with our lives.

I set up Consciously Clearing in September 2016 and work in homes throughout Ireland helping clients to declutter and bring positive changes to their lives.

I support and encourage my clients to let go of the past, donate their excess to charity and to move forward with their lives in more meaningful and connected ways.
