Huge thanks to Theresa Kelly and the team at Helping Hands, Edenmore, who dropped into Raheny today with a generous donation of Easter Eggs and flowers for our patients and staff.

These regular acts of kindness from the Helping Hands Team are always greatly appreciated, we are so fortunate to have such a fantastic community group in our local area ❤

Thank you as always to the local Gardaí, and the Easter Bunny of course, for their help with delivering these treats🐰🐣

Our next Grief Café will take place on Friday 3rd April from 10:00-11:30 am in St Francis Hospice Blanchardstown. This is a safe and supportive environment for people to connect over a cup of tea or coffee with others who are grieving. Pop in at any stage during that time for a cuppa and a chat.

Grieving can often feel isolating, but when you meet others going through a similar experience, it can help you feel more understood and less alone. The Social Work team and our bereavement volunteers will also be present at each café.

This is a free group for adults in our community who are grieving. To register, visit our web site and fill out the form, or contact the bereavement team at bereavement@sfh.ie or 01 8327535.

Our Walk and Talk bereavement group is free for adults in the community who are grieving. Members of our bereavement team will guide a walk in the fresh air, followed by a cuppa. It gives people a chance to talk to our bereavement team and other bereaved people who know what it is like living with grief.

Our next walk will take place on Tuesday 31st March at 10am. The meeting point is the entrance to the Red Stables. The walk will be followed by tea/coffee in Olive's Room Café.

The walk is suitable for most levels of mobility as it takes place on flat paths within the park. Please wear or bring suitable clothing to take part in the walk on the day, as the walk will go ahead in all-weather unless there is a weather warning.

Please register for the group on https://www.sfh.ie/for-patients-families/bereavement-care/bereavement-support-groups/ or by contacting the bereavement team on bereavement@sfh.ie or 01 832 7535.
