For the second morning in a row, Glenveagh construction workers have blocked up two housing estates, reducing traffic to a single lane and causing severe disruption for residents.

Parents are being forced onto the main road with children on their way to school because footpaths are blocked.

There has been no communication from Glenveagh explaining why this is happening or how long it will continue. This lack of notice and the unsafe conditions created are unacceptable.

We’re delighted to share that one of our residents, Sindu, entered us into an Environmental Garden Competition with DAA — and we won!
Our prize included a bird table and stand, a bug hotel, a composter, and a water butt some watering cans and litter pickers . All of these have now been installed in the little garden on the green, helping us make the area even more welcoming for wildlife and sustainable for everyone to enjoy.
We’ll be filling the bug hotel in the springtime, ready for all our new little garden visitors! 🐞🐦

Due to ongoing allegations of harassment and intimidation of staff by members of the public in Oscar Traynor Road Bring Centre as a result of the storage of high value WEEE items in the facility, our Health & Safety Team has proposed a three month trial removal of the WEEE recycling service to ensure the ongoing health, safety and welfare of staff and users of the facility. WEEE items will not be accepted at Oscar Traynor Road from Friday 17th October. Patrons are advised to go to Ballymun Recycling Centre or North Strand Recycling Centre to dispose of their unwanted WEEE items until further notice.

The owner of Sunny, the Cat , would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped search for the lost cat.
Sadly, we must share the unfortunate news that the cat has been found deceased.

They are deeply grateful to the resident who promptly informed us of the cat’s location, allowing the owner to have closure.
