Today for World AIDS day we are raising funds in support of HIV Ireland. HIV remains a major global health issue with 239 new cases in 2024. Overall, Ireland now has one of the highest rates of HIV in Europe at 18.8 per 100,000 people, compared with the European average of 5.3.

Today on World AIDS Day, we are raising funds to support HIV Ireland. Overall, Ireland now has one of the highest rates of HIV in Europe at 18.8 per 100,000 people, compared to the European average of 5.3.

Ireland now has the second-highest rate of HIV cases per capita in Europe, with 239 new diagnoses last year and 41% diagnosed late, highlighting the need for better awareness, prevention, and support.
