I think a lot of people are experiencing a general sense of anxiety at the moment which is a completely normal reaction given the current situation. I came across this great resource developed by the Wellness Society. It's workbook with some great coping strategies to make use of during quarantine and even beyond:

It's a trying time for everyone right now and we're all using different ways to support ourselves to get through this. If you're thinking of using apps to help manage during this time, can I suggest you select them either from PsyberGuide (https://psyberguide.org/) or the NHS Mental Health app library (https://www.nhs.uk/apps-library/category/mental-health/).

These are apps that have been reviewed and they'll tell you if they're backed by evidence.

The Mental Health App Guide Designed with you in mind. Looking for a mental health app? There are lots to choose from, and we're here to help!

"...the key to understanding the role of technology in mental health could lie in understanding how it is used, not how often."

Young people today are growing up in a digital world, and the hours they spend on their smartphones every day has many parents worried. But how justified are the concerns?

Very excited that the first paper from my PhD is now available at JMIR. We conducted a survey with 1300 Irish young people about their online help-seeking behaviour.
