The HSE Campaign for Spring COVID-19 Booster Vaccination is now underway!

Starting from today, you can now avail of a booster dose of COVID-19 Vaccination in participating pharmacies if you are eligible.

While most people are eligible for vaccination, the following groups are particularly advised to avail of FREE vaccination at this time:
▪ those aged 80 years and over
▪ those aged 18 years and over living in long term care facilities
▪ those aged 6 months and over who are immunocomprimised.

If you are not in any of the above groups, you may still be recommended to be vaccinated. Please speak with any member of the pharmacy team for more information, to find out if you are eligible for a vaccination at this time, or for any further advice on your COVID-19 vaccination status

🌸 Managing Hay Fever with Asthma

Asthmatics who also suffer from seasonal allergies can experience worsening asthma symptoms during times of Moderate or High Pollen. It's very important to pay close attention to pollen forecasts - available at www.met.ie/forecasts/pollen - and to take action when the pollen count is likely to rise.

Our graphics include some advice on how asthma patients can minimise the affects of pollen during allergy season. Remember to check with your pharmacist which hay fever products are safe for use by people with asthma.

Following the merging of two of Ireland's most trusted pharmacy groups, Haven Pharmacy and totalhealth Pharmacy, we are delighted that we are now coming together under one new and exciting brand.

You'll experience a great new-look pharmacy but with the same familiar faces you know and trust. All of our pharmacies are still independently-owned and operated, rooted in their local communities, but they are now part of something stronger.

'Tis the season for Bank Holidays! We have had one a month since January, and we'll have one a month until June.

The next one is coming up soon so be prepared. Your local pharmacy may be closed next Monday 6th April. So, make sure you order and collect any medicines you may need in advance.

It's pollen season! Tree Pollen that is, and levels have been moderate to high lately. And that's why Hay Fever sufferers might be experiencing symptoms right now. It's time to get your allergy products ready.

But remember, not all allergy products work the same! Our graphics summarise the different types of products and how they work. What will work best for you depends totally on your symptoms and triggers.

Access treatment for 8 common conditions without the need to see a GP!

The launch of the Common Conditions Service means that your pharmacist can prescribe treatment for 8 conditions for which you'd have previously needed to see your GP. You will only be prescribed a treatment if it is safe and suitable for you.
