Vedas Academy

We offer many Holistic Therapy courses from certificate to diploma level accredited by ITEC and the IFPA. Vedas Academy is a sister company of Vedas Beauty Salon, Skincare Clinic & Day Spa in Dun Laoghaire. Our training academy was created with the vision of offering a wide variety of Holistic Therapy Training unlike any other in County Dublin. We are a satellite school for The Aromatherapy Company and we offer IFPA (International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists) accredited training under their umbrella along with ITEC (International Education and Training Council) certification. We offer many Holistic Therapy courses from certificate to diploma level. It is our goal that each of our students’ starts off on our stepping stone system and is guided through their careers from beginning to end, to beginning again with all the help they need. We want our relationship with our students to be as solid as the teaching and support that they are given. We will to make time to discuss with each student where they see their goals and their future careers, and give the support and encouragement needed throughout the whole journey. Our Stepping Stone System
We aim to promote great interest in the Holistic and Beauty industries. We are very passionate about all things related to this industry and that is why we have created our Stepping Stone System. The Stepping Stone System is our way of encouraging each of our students to continue educating themselves and become the very best at what they do. If you are beginning a career in Holistic Therapies and don’t know where to start, we have all of the information you need. We can meet and discuss your options and give you advice from personal experience and how to go about getting on the first stone. We encourage anyone new to Holistic Therapies to start on the first stepping stone which would be one of our introduction courses to massage/aromatherapy certificates. These courses are run for 6 weeks on one evening per week for 2 and a half hours. These courses are designed so that you can firstly see if a career in holistic therapy is right for you, and secondly we can advise on your skill sets, and encourage them further. These courses are inexpensive and a great starting point. The next stone is then Diploma level. This is a professional qualification that allows you to practice as a highly trained professional in spas and salons across the world. We offer all students the chance to deduct a portion of the cost of your introductory course from the cost of the diploma course. The diploma courses are very reasonable and come with payment plans to make it that bit easier for anyone wishing to study with us. Your next stepping stone would be to continue on with more professional training with either another diploma course or some short courses/ 1-day workshops. Our short courses/ 1-day workshops are a great way of adding more therapies to your skill set and it will also make you more employable as a therapist. These too are very inexpensive and are a great way of networking with like-minded therapists.
