This recognition is a huge testament to the dedication, compassion, and hard work our teams show every single day in providing the very best care to our residents at Evergreen Care.

Throughout the month, we’ll be raising awareness, sharing resources, and showing our support by wearing pink. All of us at Evergreen Care are so proud to see our colleague Elaine Molony showcase her Masters dissertation research at the Infection Prevention Society Annual Conference (IP2025Conf) in Brighton, alongside fellow UCC students and graduates.

Elaine’s commitment to advancing knowledge in infection prevention reflects the values we hold at Evergreen Care - striving for excellence, sharing expertise, and always putting quality of care first. It’s wonderful to see her hard work recognised on such a respected stage. 👏

This is a brilliant achievement for all involved and a testament to the expertise being developed at The School of Public Health, UCC.

✨Evergreen Care Person in Charge Bi-Annual Meeting✨

On September 22nd & 23rd, 2025, our Evergreen Care two-day bi-annual event took place in the City of Dublin.
Across these two inspiring days, we explored the themes that drive us forward – excellence in care, continuous quality improvement, and stronger collaboration – all with one goal in mind: enhancing the lives of our residents and maintaining a true home from home.

A special highlight of this gathering was celebrating two incredible achievements: both Susan McCullen, PIC of Sunhill Nursing Home, and Joanna Jacek, PIC of Borris Lodge Nursing Home, marking 20 years of dedication in their nursing homes. Their commitment, care, and leadership are an inspiration to us all.

We also proudly showcased the progress of our many projects as Evergreen Care continues to grow greener, aligning with our ESG strategy and commitment to a more sustainable future🌿
These gatherings are more than just meetings - they’re moments to reconnect, celebrate achievements, exchange fresh ideas, and reaffirm our shared commitment: putting residents’ wellbeing and quality of life at the heart of everything we do, while supporting the dedicated teams who make it all possible.
We left Dublin after two energising days with renewed motivation, inspiration, and a clear focus on the journey ahead.
