My daughter asked today what my favourite song was. I don’t have one! It really depends on my mood. But no matter what tune I play, I love the feeling of moving my body to music (especially when no one is watching).
Free movement is healing for the mind and the body. Not only does it burn a few calories but it also reduces stress and improves your mood instantly. It’s also great for cognitive function (a super movement break if you’re working from home!).
Do it alone, or better yet, do it with your kids. Some of my favourite memories are dancing around in the kitchen with my little one’s dressed in their princess dresses 🥰
