This last few years has been A LOT! This has been a collective trauma that we have experienced worldwide. No matter who you are, there was no one untouched. We all have our personal experiences and were affected to different degrees. Whether through isolation, illness, loss of employment or identity, the constant fear, the division and polarity between people living in fear and those of entirely different beliefs, loss of relationships, death and not being able to grieve as we should with family friends and support.
We are so far past those traumatic and anxiety fuelled initial stages and yet I truly feel there is so much ongoing, unresolved trauma as a collective.
Being able to feel and process emotions and events and to move on from them is of such a vital importance. But often times we don't know how to deal with it so we push it under the rug, saying "I'm grand" and keep going. In the end it catches up with us. The ongoing anxiety and unsettled feelings, the over reaction and getting triggered by things that just shouldn't be that big a deal.
EFT is such an amazing tool to help release stress and anxiety. To tell your body that it is safe. To tell your mind that it doesn't need to be on high alert all the time.
During this group EFT session I will be addressing the collective trauma of the COVID years. We will have time for you to bring up any themes and areas that you struggle with. We will do tapping rounds to release these emotions and fears to help you in moving on. This doesn't mean that we forget, but that we release the unresolved emotions so that our bodies are no longer in fight or flight mode being triggered by the sound of a cough or sneeze!
