Woodlands Nursing home is a family run business with a long tradition of caring for the elderly. Set up in 1976 by Mary & Kevin Fitzgerald Woodlands has established itself as one of the leading nursing homes in the Tipperary area. Now in the capable hands of Mary’s Children Paddy Fitzgerald and Sinead Carberry Woodlands continues to set the standard in the care and wellbeing of all their residents. With a definite emphasis on retaining the Homely atmosphere, all of the staff at Woodlands are from the local area which brings a continuity to all residents in their transfer from their own home into what we hope will become their “Home away from Home”
With a full daily activity program and visits from local musicians, school groups, religious orders etc.

Smiles all round after the Cyclists complete the Munster 360 Ultra Endurance Cycle at Dillon Quirke GAA grounds in Clonoulty-Rossmore this evening. After a 04:00 am start this morning, it has been a remarkable day cycling 360 km through each of the 6 counties in Munster in all weather conditions.

Thanks to our families, friends and all our supporters who have helped to make this extraordinary day happen. Our thoughts are with Dillon, his family and his friends on this special evening.
