Great day refining return to play strategies, excellent course

🇮🇪 Love teaching in Ireland! Great group today in the sold out Ireland Return To Play Course! Brilliant high level critical thinking questions and discussions all day! Pleasure to teach and learn with. Next up tomorrow is our current Mentorship community 2 day refresher course where we’ll be going deep into the online Mentorship content and help these therapists accelerate towards their goals👍💪👌🇨🇮

The future of Irish long distance running is in safe hands 👏🇮🇪

Micheal Power and Darragh McElhinney both ran savage 5km times at weekend.

Cork man McElhinney broke Kevin Mulcaire's national u20 record with 13.54 while Power ran 14.04, inside his countyman John Treacy's old mark.

If only these boys dropped albums like they drop PB’s 💪🏻 14.04 for 5k which is a 25s pb. 14.13 for 5k which is a 17s pb. 3.58 for 1500m. 13.53 for 5k which is sick and first time an Irish teenager has broken 14min. None of this is possible without the lads drive and commitment and fantastic coaching by David McCarthy.

That hip extension though🤗 brilliant run again by Micheal Power last week completing 1500m in 3:53s. Building starts again now that indoor season has finished💪🏻

Being able to control upper body rotation with lower body stabilisation is critical in rotational field sports. Here is Wayne Power who had a full ACL reconstruction and has progressed massively over the last few months.💪🏻💪🏻 Getting into a bit of shape too😂

Fantastic running by these four men today! This doesn’t surprise me as the work they do behind the scenes is incredible. Amazingly proud to help them improve their running through S&C programming in combination with excellent running programming by David McCarthy👊🏻 Special mention to Daragh mc who set a new junior indoor 5k record!💪🏻 Efficiency is key!
