One size does not fit all! 😮

Botulinum toxin type A is a purified protein that helps smooth wrinkles by relaxing muscles, but there are a few options to choose from. The consultation visit is so important to ascertain which product will suit you the best as the formulations and subsequent effects are slightly different. These are prescription only medications and can only be prescribed by a doctor or dentist in the Republic of Ireland.

⚖️ BALANCE ⚖️

I love restoring facial proportions. This lovely patient of mine felt like she had a thin upper lip. Following initial consultation, we agreed that voluminsing her top lip would compliment her fuller lower lip 🌹

You’ve most probably heard of hyaluronic acid (HA) - but what is it?

💎 HA is a sugar
🌱Naturally present in our bodies, mostly in our skin
💧Main role is to hydrate and lubricate
🧽 Can retain X1000 it’s weight in water
♻️ Your natural HA is replenished on a daily basis
↘️ Your HA production decreases as you age, which accounts for visible volume loss starting as early as your late 20s
❌ Smoking and sun exposure (UVA + UVB) also decrease HA levels in the skin
🔬HA fillers are structurally reinforced so they last longer in the body (if not, they would be gone within a 24 hour period!)
⏪HA can be broken down with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This is what’s used to dissolve filler in the event of a complication.
