The death has occurred of Anne Grant (née Lee), formerly of Batterstown, Co. Meath and Singapore.
Anne passed away suddenly but peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff at Elm Hall Nursing Home on Saturday 21st of March. Anne will be deeply missed by her children, Deirdre, Brian and Gráinne, her step sons, Sean and Pat, her sons-in-law Karl and Fergal, daughters-in-law Helen, Eimear, Marie and Gill, as well as her many beloved grandchildren Colum, Lauren, Sadhbh, Éabha, Liam, Mannix, Oran, Donncha, Senan, Rachel, Adam, Matthew, Daniel, Louise and Ellen. She is lovingly remembered by her extended family in Singapore and her great friends and neighbours in Batterstown and beyond.

Anne was predeceased by her husband Brian, her parents John and Agnes, her brother Pat and step son Owen.

The death has occurred of Rose Ellen (Nellie) Simpson, Elgarstown, Ratoath, Co. Meath and formerly of Beaumont, Dublin. Peacefully, at the Mater Hospital on Tuesday 10th March, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Thomas James (Jim) and her daughter Christina. Loving mother of Mary, Jim, Maureen, Jacintha, John, Monica, Una and Rosalind. Sadly missed by her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.

Beloved husband of sixty one years of Elizabeth and father of Sharon, Lisa, Rachelle, the late Darragh, Jonathan and Aoife, brother of the late Noreen and Ethel and son of the late Josie and Christy. The death has occurred of Pierce O’Brien, Hillview Nursing Home, Rathfeigh and late of Clavinstown, Drumree, Co. Meath. Peacefully, at Connolly hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of the late Rhona and brother of the late Tom and Mary.

Pierce will be sadly missed by his loving children Dermot, Mary, Darragh and Eoin, sons-in-law Brendan and Keith, daughter-in-law Maria, grandchildren Darren, Kyle, Lily, Freddie, Roisin, Diarmuid, Grainne, Sean, Ciaran, Sinead and Una, Darren’s wife Jordyn, adored great-grandson; his little man Aodhan, sister Anne, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, his large circle of friends from Aer Lingus, staff and residents of Hillview and fellow Ham radio enthusiasts.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Ellen, his sister Mary and his beloved sister-in-law Catherine.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Olive, sister Phyllis, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Aisling Coyne - 13th February 2026. Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly after a very brief illness. Beloved wife of Stephen and adored eldest child of her heartbroken parents Seamus and Helen. Aisling will be sadly missed and forever loved by her brothers Thomas and Conor, her only sister Grace, her granny Mary, her godmother Sandra, godfather Finbar, her aunts, uncles, cousins, and her many, many friends across the world.

Aisling will be forever remembered as a pioneer, a passionate and courageous woman who had a profound impact on all who had the privilege of encountering her. Kind, thoughtful, hilariously funny and exceptionally clever, she was a tireless advocate for those less fortunate and a steadfast voice for justice and compassion. The world is a sadder place without her. Her loss will be deeply and forever mourned by all who loved her.

Martin will be sadly missed by his wife Monica (Hurson), his children Shane, Niall, Gráinne, Ciarán and Sinéad, daughters-in-law Michelle and Lisa and son-in-law Kevin. Martin was a much loved Pops to Conor, Jamie, Emily, Arthur, Elizabeth, Florence, Maurice, Siún and Tessa and a dear brother of Maeve, Deirdre, Cliodhna and Eimear.
