Inspiring OCD would like to sincerely wish all our loyal followers from the four corners of the world a very happy Christmas.

I am eternally grateful for all the hope and support I've received from everyone over the past year. I hope some day for a world where OCD is understood and celebrated.

I'm looking forward to more support and understanding in the year 2026.

After attending Monday evenings OCD Ireland support meeting at St Patrick's University Hospital, I left with a few insights,

OCD is not discriminative of race/age/social status, it can affect anyone.

OCD is far from being just about obsessive cleanliness or hand washing, it's complexity and nature is very broad and it covers many themes and obsessive behaviors.

I left knowing I had met with good people, afflicted by a disorder that we all share common links.

OCD never stops educating us.

Inspiring OCD, is a support group for adults in the Co Meath and surrounding areas, founded in 2016 in a direct response to the lack of support in rural areas for young adults afflicted with OCD and related disorders.

We aim to hold monthly support groups free to all who would like to attend, the aim is to build a successful community of persons with a shared interest.

We would like to grow into a national organisation dedicated to supporting those with OCD and anxiety.

Delighted to confirm a support meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 11th March.

Thank you all who have messaged over the past while in regards meetings...My hope is to eventually set up a WhatsApp group in order to streamline booking and confirm interest.

The Groinal response is mostly experienced with sexually intrusive thoughts, and it's important to remember it's not a true reflection of a person's sexual desires.
