Emo Tea Rooms are situated in a beautifully restored Bachelor Wing adjacent to Emo Court sheltered by a walled herbal garden. We can seat up to 70 people inside at any one time within 4 Georgian rooms and a further 30 people outside in our walled garden area. We can provide you with a varied choice in menus and also can cater for Gluten Free, Dairy Free, vegetarian and Vegan guests. We have catered for all types of guest at Emo Tea Rooms such as our President, Taoisigh, serving TDs, tour groups, weddings , christenings , private dinners , Confirmation and First Communions. My staff and I are here to help you in any way we can to make your visit to Emo a treasured moment. Emo is an ideal spot for groups; however please note that advance booking is essential.

One of our four Halloween events starts today.
🎃 Guess the weight of the Pumpkin.🎃
In Portumna Castle's main reception area is a large pumpkin grown in our garden by Craft gardener Lynn O'Keeffe.
One winners will be drawn from correct answers, failing a correct answers, the closest answer will be selected or if there is a tie, one winner will be drawn.
Prize: Portumna Castle Goodie Bag
Competitin runs until 2 November.

Kathleen Darcy will give a talk on her exhibition 'Seasons in Wax & Bloom' this Saturday 11th October at 2pm. This is a free event.

Kathleen's exhibition comprises of an assortment of dried flower wreaths and a collection of paintings in encaustic and ink. This collection is on display for the month of October

As the evenings grow darker, the parklands will close at 6.30pm for the month of October 🍂✨

Tours of Emo Court continue daily until Wednesday, 5th November - a wonderful opportunity to explore the house before it closes for the 2025 season.
