Welcome, December.
The deepest, darkest month of the year, a time when the earth turns inward, inviting us to do the same.
Winter is not a season of pushing, it’s medicine for the soul: rest, warmth, nourishment and gentle retreat. Our bodies naturally long to slow down, to eat wholesome foods, to sleep earlier, to wrap ourselves in blankets and sit beside the fire.
Yet the world around us asks the opposite, to hurry, rush, prepare, perform. No wonder our systems feel overwhelmed.
Maybe today you can give yourself permission to slow down. Just for a moment, be present.
Sit, breathe, Let your tea warm your hands.
Let your body catch up with your mind, which is spinning with lists and expectations.
Return to your innate rhythm nature intended for you.
