From Monday, 29th September, Walkers Chemist will be open:
🕘 Monday – Saturday: 9am – 6pm

To make sure we continue providing the best service possible, we’re adjusting our hours slightly. With fewer staff available in the evenings, these new times will help us look after both our customers and team.

Walkers Story

Back before Enfield turned in to the sprawling metropolis it is today there was a single chemist shop tucked away right in the heart of the village. For many people it was the heart of the village. I know many of our customers regularly speak of the original shop opened by Paddy and Kay Walker in 1976 with very fond memories, I certainly have very fond memories of working there.

The original shop was located next-door to our new home and so this is special in more ways than one for us. An evolution of our family owned business but also a homecoming of sorts. My team and I are very proud to carry on this trusted local business, serving our customers and providing employment in the community we call home.
