Clarecare Services delivered by Clarecare are based on the philosophy of working in a supportive role with people to assist them with solutions to their problems.

Clarecare offices are based in Ennis, Killaloe, Kilrush, Ennistymon & Shannon. Clarecare provides three core services throughout County Clare - Addiction Treatment, Care of the Older Person (which includes Home Support, Social Clubs and Social Work for Older Person Services) and Family Support Services. Clarecare also operate Thrift Shops at our centres in Ennis and Killaloe with opening hours 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. RCN 20012847

🌍 Earth Day was enjoyed by members of the Over 65s Club in Killaloe with a relaxed and hands‑on celebration 🌱 Participants connected with each other and the earth through a shared meditation session, followed by potting up primroses and violas from the garden to bring home 🌸. By planting these flowers, they are helping to encourage biodiversity while enjoying time together in nature.

Clarecare is proud to highlight the meaningful steps we’re taking to protect our planet. By making more sustainable choices in how we work and support our communities, we’re showing how small actions, taken together, can create lasting change.
Some of the ways we’re doing this include:

What a fantastic day at Ennis Over 65s Club! 🎉

As part of today’s exercise session, we brought out the bin bag races—and the result? Pure laughter, great fun, and plenty of excitement! 🏁

Everyone got involved, and the best part was hearing the cheers as we all encouraged each other along. The energy in the room was amazing—proof that staying active can be just as fun as it is beneficial! 💪😊

A big thank you to Hannah Griffey, SICAP Development Officer from Clare Local Development Company, for delivering a very informative Energy Awareness Workshop at the Over 65s Club in Ennis this morning.

The service users learned a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed the session. We really appreciate the time, knowledge, and support shared with the group.

We are looking forward to welcoming Hannah to all our other day care centres to continue sharing this valuable information, and we hope to see her again soon for a follow-up session.
