We have some exciting news for the children of Clare!
Cahercalla Community Care is running a Christmas competition for primary school students.
We're asking children to get creative and share what Christmas means to them - whether that's through art or writing.
What we're looking for:
🎨 Art Competition - Draw or paint something that shows your Christmas
✍️ Writing Competition - Write about your favourite Christmas memory (story or poem)
The prizes:
Winners will receive gift vouchers, Christmas hampers, and trophies.
But here's the best bit - every single child who enters will get a certificate, a Christmas treat, and their work displayed in our special Christmas exhibition here at Cahercalla.
Important dates:
Get your entries in by 15th December
Winners announced on 20th December
You can hand entries to your teacher or drop them directly to us at Cahercalla Community Care in Ennis.
This is all about bringing our community together and letting the children's creativity shine this Christmas. We're looking forward to seeing what they come up with!

🌟🎄 Calling for Christmas Decoration Donations! 🎄🌟

As Christmas approaches, we’re getting ready to spread some festive cheer in our memory care unit! We’re looking for donations of Christmas trees and decorations that are safe and suitable for our residents with dementia.

If you have any decorations that are familiar, non-toxic, and easy to handle, we would love to hear from you! Bright colors and simple designs that evoke positive memories are especially welcome.

Your generous contributions will help create a warm and joyful atmosphere for our residents this Christmas. Thank you for supporting our community!
